DevOps & Admin Tools on MassiveGRID PaaS
Ten packages for the tooling around an application: artifact repositories, VPN access, MQTT brokers, traffic routing, hosting control panels, Docker hosts and framework scaffolds, each installed in one click.
DevOps & Admin Tools packages on MassiveGRID PaaS
The applications in this category rarely face the public, which is why they are so often run on a forgotten server. The DevOps packages on MassiveGRID PaaS, built on Virtuozzo Application Platform (formerly Jelastic), give each its own environment with the platform's uptime, backups and scaling: Nexus Repository as a private artifact proxy and registry; Gitblit for lightweight Git hosting; Plesk for agencies that want a control panel on an elastic server; OpenVPN Access Server for private access to the environments themselves; Mosquitto as an MQTT broker for device fleets; Docker Engine as a single Docker host; Traffic Distributor as a weighted load balancer for canary releases and cross-region failover; WildFly Continuous Deployment for Git-driven Jakarta EE deploys; Laravel as a framework scaffold with its database; and the Load Alerts to Slack integration.
Each is billed hourly by the cloudlet (128 MiB RAM plus 400 MHz CPU) at $0.003372 per cloudlet-hour with no licence fee for the package (Plesk licensing is handled in the dashboard). Because the environments are small and often idle, the Start/Stop Scheduler add-on, which hibernates an environment outside working hours, pays for itself quickly here.
The 10 DevOps & Admin Tools packages
Each card leads to the package page with its topology, sizing table, FAQs and install buttons. Monthly figures are the Starter configuration at $0.003372 per cloudlet-hour, before volume discounts.
Choosing between the DevOps & Admin Tools packages
Separate the tools from the application they serve. A Nexus proxy or an MQTT broker in its own environment can be scaled, cloned and backed up on its own schedule, and an incident in one does not touch the other. The internal network between environments in the same account is free of traffic charges.
Use Traffic Distributor for the releases you cannot afford to get wrong. It routes a weighted share of traffic to a new environment and the rest to the old one, which turns a deploy into a canary and a region migration into an active-passive failover. The canary guide shows both.
Plesk and Laravel are for different buyers. Plesk is for a web agency or reseller that wants a panel for many small sites on one elastic server; Laravel is a developer scaffold that installs the framework with Composer and a database so a team can push code on day one. Neither is a managed plan: both give you root access and an hourly bill.
Every package page carries a sizing table with three configurations. To price a configuration of your own, or to see what a package costs on a working-hours schedule, use the PaaS pricing calculator.
