Collaboration & Projects packages on MassiveGRID PaaS
Collaboration tools are where data residency, licence cost and vendor lock-in collide: a chat history, a file store or a support queue is hard to leave once it lives in someone else's cloud. The collaboration packages on MassiveGRID PaaS, built on Virtuozzo Application Platform (formerly Jelastic), put each tool in an environment you control: Mattermost for chat, Jitsi Meet for video meetings, ownCloud for file sync and share, Redmine and qdPM for project tracking, osTicket for a help desk and WebMail Lite for a webmail front end. For Nextcloud, MassiveGRID offers managed Nextcloud hosting with per-user plans and dedicated Enterprise instances rather than a marketplace package.
Each environment is deployed in New York, London, Frankfurt or Singapore and stays there, which answers the data-protection question in one line. Billing is hourly by the cloudlet (128 MiB RAM plus 400 MHz CPU) at $0.003372 per cloudlet-hour with no per-user fee, which is the economic point: a 200-person chat server costs what its server uses, not 200 seats.
The 7 Collaboration & Projects packages
Each card leads to the package page with its topology, sizing table, FAQs and install buttons. Monthly figures are the Starter configuration at $0.003372 per cloudlet-hour, before volume discounts.
Choosing between the Collaboration & Projects packages
Count the seats you are paying for today. Mattermost, Jitsi, Redmine and osTicket replace per-seat SaaS, and the break-even against those invoices is usually well under a hundred users. The Slack replacement post and the Zendesk comparison do the arithmetic.
Jitsi is sized by concurrent meetings, not by users. The videobridge carries the media streams and is the node to grow; the handbook's guidance and the sizing rows on the package page translate that into cloudlets. The capacity planning post covers bandwidth too.
Integrate the tools with each other. Jitsi can authenticate against Moodle, Mattermost and other applications with JWT, Mattermost takes GitLab and deploy webhooks, and every environment in the account shares an internal network. One account can host the whole collaboration stack.
Every package page carries a sizing table with three configurations. To price a configuration of your own, or to see what a package costs on a working-hours schedule, use the PaaS pricing calculator.
