IOTA Node on MassiveGRID PaaS
The IOTA Node package deploys a full node for the IOTA distributed ledger on MassiveGRID PaaS. Running your own node gives your applications a private, trusted entry point to the Tangle for feeless transactions and data anchoring, without depending on public nodes.
Both buttons open the MassiveGRID PaaS dashboard with IOTA Node pre-selected. The trial needs no credit card.

What is IOTA Node?
IOTA is an open, feeless distributed ledger designed for machine-to-machine payments and data integrity in IoT and supply-chain applications. Its network is made up of nodes that validate and store the Tangle. Applications can use public nodes, but production systems usually run their own for reliability, rate limits, privacy and the ability to expose an API endpoint under their control.
The package deploys the node software on a dedicated Linux node with persistent storage for the ledger database and a public IP for peering, and starts synchronisation with the network. From there you configure neighbours or autopeering, expose the REST API to your applications, and let vertical auto-scaling cover synchronisation and traffic peaks.
What the IOTA Node Package Deploys
Marketplace packages are not bare container images. One click provisions a complete, production-shaped environment on MassiveGRID infrastructure.
- IOTA node software: A dedicated Linux container running the IOTA node with its configuration templates in place.
- Persistent ledger storage: Disk for the Tangle database and snapshots, with platform snapshots for recovery.
- Public IP and ports: A public address with gossip and API ports so the node peers with the network and serves your applications.
- Dashboard and API access: The node's dashboard and REST API reachable over HTTPS once synchronised.
Why Teams Choose IOTA Node
Your own ledger endpoint
No rate limits or trust issues from third-party nodes; your applications talk to your node.
Persistent and recoverable
Ledger data on persistent storage, snapshots on demand.
Scales with sync load
Vertical auto-scaling handles the CPU and memory spikes of initial synchronisation and busy periods.
Regional choice
Place the node in New York, London, Frankfurt or Singapore, near your applications or IoT gateways.
How to Install IOTA Node on MassiveGRID PaaS
Installing the package takes three steps and a few minutes of waiting. No servers to provision, no configuration files to edit.
Open the installer
Click Install with free trial or Install to my account. The MassiveGRID PaaS dashboard opens with the IOTA Node package pre-selected, so nothing has to be copied or pasted.
Sign up or sign in
New to the platform? Sign up for the free 14-day trial, which needs no credit card. Existing customers sign in with their usual dashboard credentials.
Choose region and deploy
Name the environment, pick New York, London, Frankfurt or Singapore, and confirm. The platform builds every IOTA Node node, wires them together and hands you the live URL and credentials.
Who Runs IOTA Node on PaaS
IoT and supply-chain applications
Anchoring sensor data and shipment events to the Tangle with a dedicated node.
Blockchain developers
Teams building on IOTA that need a stable API endpoint for testing and production.
Network participants
Organisations that want to contribute a node to the IOTA network's decentralisation.
Why Run IOTA Node on MassiveGRID PaaS
Built for uptime. IOTA Node runs on MassiveGRID's high-availability platform, where every environment is covered by a 100% uptime SLA. Nodes live on redundant hosts, storage is replicated, and failed containers are restarted or migrated automatically.
Pay for what you use. Billing is hourly and per cloudlet (128 MiB RAM plus 400 MHz CPU). Vertical auto-scaling adds and removes cloudlets as load changes, so a quiet IOTA Node environment costs a few dollars a month and a busy one grows without a migration. Full details are on the PaaS page.
Your choice of jurisdiction. Deploy in New York, London, Frankfurt or Singapore and keep data inside the region your users or regulators require. MassiveGRID is ISO 9001 certified and GDPR compliant, and has run hosting infrastructure since 2003.
No lock-in. The package is a standard Jelastic Packaging Standard (JPS) manifest. You keep root-level access to the containers, can export the manifest, and can move the workload to any other Jelastic-compatible platform or to your own servers at any time.
