NGINX Amplify Add-on for PaaS
The NGINX Amplify add-on installs the Amplify agent on the NGINX nodes of a MassiveGRID PaaS environment and connects them to your free NGINX Amplify account. You get live dashboards of requests, connections, response codes and upstream health, static analysis of your NGINX configuration and alerting, without running your own monitoring stack.
Both buttons open the MassiveGRID PaaS dashboard with NGINX Amplify pre-selected. The trial needs no credit card.

What is NGINX Amplify?
NGINX Amplify is F5's hosted monitoring service for NGINX. A lightweight agent collects metrics from the NGINX status endpoint, access logs and the operating system, and streams them to the Amplify dashboard, where you see request rates, latency, error codes, upstream response times and per-server-block breakdowns. It also inspects your configuration for security and performance problems.
The add-on installs and registers the agent on every NGINX node in the selected layer, whether an NGINX load balancer or an NGINX PHP application server, enables the stub status endpoint and formats logs so Amplify can parse them. Nodes added by scaling are registered automatically.
What NGINX Amplify Changes in Your Environment
Add-ons run against an environment you already have. Nothing is rebuilt, and the change can be removed from the same dashboard.
- Amplify agent: Installed on every NGINX node in the layer and registered with your Amplify API key.
- NGINX status and log configuration: stub_status enabled and log format extended so Amplify can compute latency and error metrics.
- Dashboard link: Nodes appear in your Amplify account within minutes with preconfigured graphs.
- Scaling support: New nodes are registered automatically.

Why Run NGINX Amplify on MassiveGRID PaaS
Built for uptime. NGINX Amplify runs on MassiveGRID's high-availability platform, where every environment is covered by a 100% uptime SLA. Nodes live on redundant hosts, storage is replicated, and failed containers are restarted or migrated automatically.
Pay for what you use. Billing is hourly and per cloudlet (128 MiB RAM plus 400 MHz CPU). Vertical auto-scaling adds and removes cloudlets as load changes, so a quiet NGINX Amplify environment costs a few dollars a month and a busy one grows without a migration. Full details are on the PaaS page.
Your choice of jurisdiction. Deploy in New York, London, Frankfurt or Singapore and keep data inside the region your users or regulators require. MassiveGRID is ISO 9001 certified and GDPR compliant, and has run hosting infrastructure since 2003.
No lock-in. The package is a standard Jelastic Packaging Standard (JPS) manifest. You keep root-level access to the containers, can export the manifest, and can move the workload to any other Jelastic-compatible platform or to your own servers at any time.
