Why SEO tools belong on a server, not your PC
GSA Search Engine Ranker at full throttle runs hundreds of threads, parses pages and solves captchas without pause. Scrapebox opens thousands of connections while it harvests. Screaming Frog loads every crawled URL into memory, so a 500,000-page crawl takes hours and gigabytes. On the machine you also use for writing, meetings and e-mail, every one of those jobs is interrupted by a sleep timer, a Wi-Fi drop, a reboot for updates, or simply by you needing the computer back.

Shared cores are fine for Scrapebox, rank trackers and scheduled Screaming Frog crawls, because those tools are bound by bandwidth or memory rather than CPU. Windows licence, Linux tools and what stays your responsibility
Every Windows Server plan starts on Microsoft's 180-day evaluation at no licence cost, which fits a campaign or a proof of concept; for a server that runs longer, add the licence at $6.31 per vCPU per month and the installation is converted in place. Windows 10 and 11 Pro are available on your own key for tools that are only tested on desktop Windows. If part of your stack is Linux, a Linux VPS at the same per-resource price runs it without a Windows licence, and the two servers sit on the same cluster.
What you run is yours to answer for: use the tools within the law and the terms of the sites and search engines they touch, and keep proxies and accounts in line with their providers' rules. 180-day Windows Server evaluation
Every Windows Server template (2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025) installs as Microsoft's evaluation build. Activate it online within the first 10 days and it runs fully featured for 180 days, with the days remaining shown on the desktop.
- After day 180 your data and software stay in place, but the server shuts down every hour until a licence is added.
- Adding the licence converts the installation in place. No reinstall.
Licence included
Choose "Licence +$6.31/vCPU" on any plan and the Windows Server licence is part of the order, with the amount shown as its own line in the card total. A 2 vCPU server adds $12.62 a month, a 4 vCPU server $25.24.

Windows 10 or 11 Pro: your own key
Windows 10 Pro and Windows 11 Pro templates are available under the evaluation option. They install unactivated, and you enter your own product key after the first login, because hosting providers cannot rent out desktop Windows licences.
- Windows 10 reached end of support on 14 October 2025; new servers should use Windows 11 Pro or Windows Server.
RDP included, two admin sessions
