MassiveGRID vs CNS (Commercial Network Services)
Commercial Network Services (CNS) is a long-running US trading VPS provider known for its Trader's VPS plans, its broker bundling programme and a 100% uptime guarantee; MassiveGRID Forex VPS is a high-availability trading server in four cities from $2.87 per month. CNS's own website was returning errors when we checked on 24 October 2026, so its figures below are taken from search listings of its own pages and should be confirmed with CNS before you rely on them.

Where each one wins
A comparison written by one of the two providers is only useful if it says where the other is better. Here is where CNS (Commercial Network Services) is.
Where CNS (Commercial Network Services) wins
- Guarantee length. A 30-day money-back guarantee against our 15 days, and a 100% uptime guarantee of its own with a stated credit.
- ON NET brokers. CNS states that brokers connected directly to its network see under 1 ms, and it runs a bundling programme through which brokers sponsor a free or discounted CNS VPS for their clients. A trader whose broker is in that programme may get the server for nothing.
- Entry plan hardware. Two cores and 45 GB on the Value plan against one vCPU and 32 GB on Forex VPS 1, and a dedicated IPv4 included on both.
- Los Angeles. A west-coast US location we do not offer.
Where MassiveGRID wins
- Price. $2.87 per month against $35 per month for the cheapest plan CNS describes as optimised for trading. For a single MetaTrader account that is more than a tenfold difference.
- Cities a forex broker actually uses. Frankfurt and Singapore in addition to New York and London. CNS offers Los Angeles, New York and London only, so a broker hosted in Frankfurt, Amsterdam or Singapore is nearer to one of our servers than to any of CNS's.
- Published failover. Our 100% SLA is backed by a described mechanism: a Proxmox HA cluster that restarts your VM on another node within seconds, from NVMe storage replicated three times. CNS states a 100% uptime guarantee but, in the pages we found, not how it is delivered.
- Broker matching with sources. The broker matcher lists which brokers publish each of our cities, with links to their statements, and sets the city on every plan with one click.
- A site you can read. On the day we checked, CNS's pages returned errors and its plan details had to be read from search listings. Ours are on the Forex VPS page.
Which to pick
- Pick CNS if your broker is in its bundling programme and will sponsor the server, if you want a Los Angeles location, or if the 30-day guarantee is the deciding factor.
- Pick MassiveGRID if your broker publishes New York, London, Frankfurt or Singapore, if you want the entry price under $3 a month, or if you want the failover mechanism behind the uptime guarantee spelled out.
- Confirm CNS's current terms directly with CNS before buying; the figures here could not be read from its live site when we checked.
