The key settings here: shared_buffers is set to 25% of total RAM, which is the standard PostgreSQL recommendation. effective_cache_size is set to 75% of total RAM, telling the query planner how much memory is available for disk caching. work_mem at 16 MB gives each sort operation enough memory to avoid spilling to disk. The random_page_cost of 1.1 tells PostgreSQL we are running on NVMe storage where random reads are almost as fast as sequential reads -- this dramatically improves query plan selection on SSD-backed servers.

Restart PostgreSQL to apply the changes:

Step 8: Cron Job Configuration
